Napa Valley Trip August -September 2020

August 20th- September 1st, 2020 One of the many wonderful reasons I have been able to travel for work is going out of town to be a labor coach/ doula. The most recent time was traveling to Saint Helena for the birth of my nephew Ozzie. My brother -in laws family owns the Behrens Family Winery in Saint Helena, a beautiful family winery in Spring Mountain. Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward own this beautiful property, winery, vineyard, and farm. California, Los Angeles/ Olympic Spa Los Angeles

http://olympicspala.com/ My February trip to California and the Olympic Spa was just what the Doctor ordered to get away from another brutal Wisconsin winter. As a healthcare provider, I have learned I have to take the time to take care of myself if I want to continue providing care to my patients. I have learned to accept self-care and take off a few days to get out in nature and get to the spa.  The Olympic Spa with various steam rooms, whirlpools, infrared light treatment, and massage services was the perfect escape to get out of town and get some respite. It is said ' either you slow down or your body slows you down.' Taking the time to let your body relax, get out of fight or flight mode is essential to ward off stress-related illness. Olympic Spa is upscale, professional, and reasonably priced.  I received a full body massage, meal, infrared sauna, and whirlpool treatment for well under $100.
